Last year the same New-York Times revealed the existence of a network of 12 secret CIA bases along the Russian border, built over the past 8 years. Since 2014, the US and NATO have been moving deeper and deeper into Ukraine. The trajectory followed by the West was leading inexorably to war. Rightly or wrongly, Russia felt in February 2022 that it could no longer afford to wait until NATO had properly completed its preparations for its destruction.
The Times recalls how, in the early months, Americans and Ukrainians, fortified by this secret alliance, were certain of victory. Three years later, the hoped-for collapse of Russia has failed to materialize, despite successive breaches of the "red lines". And today, the United States is posing as a mediator in its own war!
