Otherwise, the interests of the United States and Europe will suffer greatly....It's not a question of supporting Ukraine because we love the Ukrainians. It's in our own interest. And it's also in the interest of the United States as a global player - one that wants to be seen as a responsible partner in the security of its allies."
In clear terms, he expresses that the real goal has nothing to do with Ukraine, but with the perpetuation of the West''s political and economic dominance, which would collapse in the event of Nato''s defeat in Ukraine.
Boris Johnson agrees: "If Ukraine falls, it will be a catastrophe for the West, it will put an end to Western hegemony".
And the Ukrainian Foreign Minister agrees: "Not continuing to support Ukraine would seriously damage American leadership worldwide", he tweets, well aware that this is the only argument likely to perpetuate the Allies' warlike commitment.
