“At the Cinquantenaire: burgers, giant flags and glory to God to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the United States”

On June 28, the Cinquantenaire Park was off-limits to the common people of Brussels: it had been requisitioned by the United States to celebrate in grand style the 250th anniversary of our great “ally”—250 years of genocide against indigenous peoples, slavery, segregation, and nearly uninterrupted wars. A grand celebration was in order.

While the local population was barred from its park, the elite flocked to the event: the President of the European Parliament, the Secretary General of NATO, and no fewer than five ministers from the Arizona government, including Maxime Prévot, Théo Francken, and Bart De Wever...

While the latest U.S. aggression is plunging the entire world into an unprecedented crisis—the full brunt of which our own population is bearing—our Prime Minister made a point of emphasizing in his speech the eternal historical ties between Belgium and the United States and reaffirmed his unwavering loyalty to the U.S. “God Bless the United States of America!” he exclaimed in conclusion.
